
Mandated Reporter Training – Company Purchase
This NYS Education Department mandated training is a “one-time” training required for school bus drivers and attendants/monitors. Under this mandate, transportation professionals are required to report suspected child abuse, human trafficking or maltreatment.
This 2-hour course provides everything a transportation professional needs to properly identify and report suspicions of child abuse, as observed on their school bus or at the bus stop. The provisions of the Social Services law that require this training for transportation professionals will be explored, as well as the six primary types of child abuse, what the signs are and how to report it.
