Effective July 1, 2012, NYSED Education Law, Article 2 requires school districts in NYS to train their personnel in the policies and practices of anti-discrimination, harassment and bullying under the Dignity for All Students Act also known as DASA.
School employees must create and maintain environments free of discrimination, harassment and bullying, Training is required annually.

- Understand what DASA is and how it affects what they do on your school bus.
- Understand the differences between Discrimination, harassment and bullying and be able to identify each.

- Know what their responsibility is as school bus drivers, attendants or monitors under the DASA regulation.
